Description
I am enchanted by orchids. They are whimsical, fantastical, surreal and the manifestation of sheer beauty. I am incredibly fortunate to live in Hawai'i, where I can grow a myriad of orchids from all over the world. I put them in the yard and since most only bloom once a year, the reappearance of their blooms gives me great surprise, as often, I forget where I have put them. This is a species orchid that I no longer know the name of, but am honored to have it bloom again this year and gift me with the pleasure of its beauty.
