Description
I often wonder what the sense of time is for other life on our beautiful world. Does a flower experience a sense of quickening, a sense of excitement at it grows from bud to bursting? As I watch the budding of hibiscus in my garden, I have the feeling of anticipation and wonder to view the evolution from bud to magnificent flower.

I read somewhere once that a flower does not compete with the flower next to it, it simply blooms. Such a beautiful description, Heidi. I love the textures and dimensions of this incredible image. Lovely beyond words. Featured in Hawaiiana. L/F
