Description
The Island of Hawai'i is made from volcanoes. We have one that is nearly continuously active, Kilauea. Kilauea repeatedly sends lava toward the ocean and when it meets the sea, it is a spectacular sight to behold.

Incredible! LF Can't imagine how frightening it must be to sit upon this active volcano. I have been there many years ago and remember the steam venting from the earth even when the volcano was inactive.
Heidi Fickinger replied:
Thank you Angela. For the people living in the area of the eruption, it is definitely sad and difficult. Much aloha to you.
