There is no color like the clear, brilliant turquoise inner lagoon waters of Tahiti. The line demarking the edge of the reef is very apparent by both the dark blue color of deep water and the areas of where strong current run and calm the ruffled texture of the ocean. To see the beauty of the lagoon, I hiked high up the mountain behind a friend's property to see this view.

As a fine-art photographer of many years (initially in black and white large format film), my purpose is to capture and share the incredible beauty in our world. I am enthralled by both the grand scene of a live volcano or brilliant sunrise and the amazing detail and design of each tiny part of a flower.
