Our spiral notebooks are 6" x 8" in size and include 120 pages which are lined on both sides. The artwork is printed on the front cover which is made of thick paper stock, and the back cover is medium gray in color. The inside of the back cover includes a pocket for storing extra paper and pens.

The fiery beauty of a lava flow turns into an infinite canvass of art when it has cooled. The lava in this image is pahoehoe flow lava. The word pahoehoe is Hawaiian and describes lava that is slower in movement than 'a'a and is hotter and more viscous. Pahoehoe is often described as 'ropy' lava due to the braided appearance it has. Because it is hotter, it often is iridescent due to the formation of glass, crystalline structure as it moves. It can also carry amazing colors from the wealth of minerals contained in the rock.
