I adore hibiscus flowers and grow various varieties in my yard in Hawai'i. One morning I noticed that a cricket was feasting on the pollen of one of my hibiscus. I went to get my camera and tripod, not knowing whether the cricket would still be there. Not only was the cricket still there, but he gave not a whit about my pointing my lens very close to photograph it. The bounty was too good for it to pass up I suspect to be fearful of a giant with a lens.
