A 'grand' picture of the island.....and the rock. Is there any symbolic significance of the rock in Hawaiian legends? So many rocks are important to the culture.
Heidi Fickinger replied:
I tried researching this location and talked to my friends that might know about this location and could find nothing. I am certain it had a large place in the culture as there are rings of stone that were probably from an ahu. So much of the history is lost....
