Description
Second in series of water/forest reflections that appear as forest guardians-forest avatar spirits with the appearance of rare and endangered Hawaiian creatures. In this piece, the avatar looks very much like the Nalo meli maoli, the extremely endangered, native Hawaiian Yellow-Faced Bee, which has a distinctive yellow patch on its long face and prominent, long, antennae.

Nice take on that landscape, almost looks like an insect. Interesting creation!
Heidi Fickinger replied:
Thank you kindly William. It does appear like the native Hawaiian Yellow-Faced Bee, as in the description.
