Description
The madagascar gecko was brought to Hawai'i through the pet trade. Over the years they have spread far and wide on Hawiai'i Island; 9 years ago when I first moved to my house, there were none, but a friend brought me some native fern trees and they were covered with these geckos and gecko eggs. They are a nuiscance and invasive, killing the few native skink species we have here with impunity, but they are beautiful.
