Description
While visiting Pohiki Beach on Hawai'i Island where I live, this incredible fiery sunset spread across the sky. When I arrived, I was thrilled to see the dynamic low-level cloud structure that sat above the beach. Little did I know that haze in the air from raging fires and smoke nearly 3000 miles away in California and dancing, high, thin clouds barely visible when I first walked out to the beach, would be lit by the falling sun to create this blaze of glory across the sky which, in turn, painted the ocean and the wet rocks of the beach with a golden brush.
