An incredible sky floats over the Waipio River on this blue morning. The Waipio Valley through which the river flows to meet the sea is a valley is sacred to the Hawaiian people. The valley is now protected against sale to developers and those seeking to make a profit through its use and so protecting is deep beauty and signficance to the Hawaiian people.

Thank you so very much Deborah. It is now protected which many of us fought for, but at the moment no one can go down the road except residents. This is because so many people where going down the past two years and causing erosion to the road. Much aloha to you.
